Assistant Youth Learning Center Coordinator
Category: Non-Exempt Part-Time >20 hrs/week
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Recreation, Sociology or Human Services strongly preferred or equivalent education and/or experience. High School diploma required. Minimum of one year work experience in a group leadership position with youth. Valid North Carolina driver’s license and ability to work weekends and evenings. Must be 21 years old. Must have a minimum of 3 years driving and with a good driving record.
Position Objective: Under general supervision, lifeguard will attentively observe the pool area and enforce YWCA rules and regulations.
Education/Experience: Certifications will include current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid. Must be a strong swimmer. Minimum one year of lifeguarding experience is preferred but not necessary.
