Make a difference in your community - Volunteer at the YWCA!
The YWCA is grateful for our volunteers. Whether you are managing corporate, civic, social or religious groups volunteer efforts; or are looking for a way to donate your time as an individual or family, we would love to work with you.
This year, YWCA will provide afterschool and full-day summer programming for over 300 youth in at-risk communities of Mecklenburg and Union counties. At our Park Road campus, we also provide transitional housing and case management services for over 175 homeless women and families. Without the support of donors and volunteers like you, we would not be able to offer these services.
Our volunteers donate their time and talent in YWCA's Youth programs, Transitional Housing programs, Fitness, Facilities and Administration and more. Whether your skills and interests are in tutoring and mentoring, training and coaching, yard work, arts and crafts, cooking and nutrition; we will work to find a fit for your skill set.

YWCA & Crossroads Charlotte: Adopt-A-Youth Learning Center
The YWCA is partnered with Crossroads Charlotte to create community partnership opportunities with an intentional focus on improving trust across lines of difference, especially racial and socioeconomic differences. Through our Adopt-A-Youth Learning Center program, local businesses, universities and organizations partner with our after-school and summer enrichment programs to engage with youth ages 5-12 who live in at-risk communities. The initiative provides opportunity for interacting and building connections with individuals from different areas of the community and for the giving and receiving of tolerance-based education activities. If your organization is already a YWCA Crossroads Partner and you are ready to begin volunteering, please complete the registration forms below and send them to Carmen Fitzpatrick, Volunteer Coordinator, at 704.525.5770 (phone), 704.521.9622 (fax) or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We will contact you as soon as your registration is processed so you may begin your work with our youth.
