We are pleased to offer some amazing specialty classes for members and nonmembers.

Summer Splash & Dash! 

Join coaches Jody and Lisa as you learn race swim techniques and challenge the body through running with boot camp style exercises. The training will culminate with the YWCA Splash & Dash race at the YWCA on Wednesday, 7/12. 

Training dates: Monday, 6/19 - Wednesday, 7/12 

Wednesdays: 7pm - 8pm (swim and toning) & Mondays 7pm - 8pm (run and strength)

Buddy Up Partner Workout 

Saturday, May 20 10 AM - 11:15 AM

Join instructors Diane and Shawn for a fun, energizing partner workout. Get your heart rate up utilizing steps and Bosus, strengthen and tone with pull and push strap exercises, and balance your yin and yang with rejuvenating stretches. All levels welcome! Cost: $10/person

Parent & Kid Yoga Fridays 9:30 AM - 10 AM Fridays (5/19)

Learn yoga basics while having fun in this 30 minute class! We will use simple yoga poses, games, stories and breathing techniques to improve coordination and build body awareness. We'll meow in cat pose, flutter our wings in butterfly pose and laugh in boar pose. Each class will have a carefully selected story that can be applied to yoga. Please dress in comfy clothes. Arthritis Workshop Classes in the Pool  

Tuesdays 9AM - 9:50AM *No charge for members & visitors 

Join Cynthia, our Arthritis Foundation certified instructor, and benefit from safe exercises that assist with range of motion, and gently promote flexibility, strength and endurance. Click here for more info and a waiver form.  


Refuse to be a Victim Workshop 

Learn how to be aware of your surroundings, plus the psychology of criminals, physical security, home security and vehicle security. Refuse to be a Victim is a personal safety program that teaches strategies you can use immediately to avoid situations where self-defense is required. *This is not a self-defense class.

Scout Swim at the Pool 

Register your troop(s) for in-water badge work, train for camp swimming or pure pool fun.  Trained staff will lead Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts through in-water training. We can customize a program to fit your needs or use our own American Red Cross approved safety program. This program is designed to meet the requirements of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America Aquatics Badge.

Prenatal Yoga

Join a certified yoga instructor and embrace your pregnancy through yoga. Relax, refresh and restore your body during this exciting time.

Flick & Floats - Movie Nights at YWCA

Mom, Dad - leave the kids with us and enjoy a night out! Once a month, the YWCA hosts movie night in the pool. From 6pm-8pm, kids watch a movie and float in the pool. Only $5/child. Child must be able to float unsupported for at least five seconds on front and back; able to swim five yards of front and back crawl without assistance. Children must be nine years or older or swim with an adult at all times. Register online here!

Host your own Flick & Float at the YWCA!

Celebrate your next milestone or accomplishment with a Flick & Float Pool Movie Night! We can host your group on a Friday night, whether it's children or adults-only groups. Child must be able to float unsupported for at least five seconds on front and back; able to swim five yards of front and back crawl without assistance. Children must be nine years or older or swim with an adult at all times.
