We are pleased to offer some amazing specialty classes for members and nonmembers.
Train with YDub Tri Club! May 1 - June 10
Join certified USAT Coach Jody Frazier, Coach Lisa Farnick and Coach Jeff Nerret at YWCA's triathlon training group. Participate in this training leading up to the Tri Latta Spring Distance Triathlon on June 10. We will review and build a solid base in swimming, biking, and running over a 6-week period. This is for intermediate level racers.
Training dates: Mondays - Bike 7 PM - 8:30 PM/ Wednesdays - Swim 7 PM - 8:30PM / Thursday - Run 6:30PM - 8 PM.
Cost (includes t-shirt): $150 for members / $200 for non-members

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt! Friday, April 7
Prizes will be awarded for finding the Easter Bunny's lost Easter Eggs! Some eggs will float for the little tykes while others will be sinkers for those needing a little extra challenge.
Children will be grouped together by age and will have their own special time to hunt. Please bring a waterproof basket or egg holder and a towel. Plastic bags are not allowed in the pool. All children unable to swim at least 15 yards unassisted and tread water for 30 seconds must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Print a registration form here for the appropriate time below. Egg hunt begins promptly, so please arrive early.
3-5 Years: 5:00 - 5:20 PM
Parent & Kid Yoga Fridays 9:30 AM - 10 AM Fridays (3/31, 4/7, 4/21, 4/28)
Learn yoga basics while having fun in this 30 minute class! We will use simple yoga poses, games, stories and breathing techniques to improve coordination and build body awareness. We'll meow in cat pose, flutter our wings in butterfly pose and laugh in boar pose. Each class will have a carefully selected story that can be applied to yoga. Please dress in comfy clothes. Spring Swim Clinic - March 13-April 5
The YWCA now offers Spring Swim Clinics where the Coach will give each swimmer the special attention to elevate their swimming skills.
We will focus on diving and racing starts, turns for all strokes, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, or breaststroke to help your child improve his/her swimming skills! Your child will be grouped with other swimmers of similar age and ability. For more information view the form here.

Splash & Dash - Wednesday, March 8 - Saturday, April 15
Join coaches Jody and Lisa as you learn race swim techniques and challenge the body through running with boot camp style exercises. The training will culminate with the YWCA Splash and Dash race at the YWCA.
$10 for drop ins or RACE ONLY FEE (does not include t-shirt)
In the Pool: Tuesdays 9AM - 9:50AM *No charge for members & visitors
In the MP Room: Tuesdays 10:45AM - 11:30AM *$5/person

Refuse to be a Victim Workshop
Learn how to be aware of your surroundings, plus the psychology of criminals, physical security, home security and vehicle security. Refuse to be a Victim is a personal safety program that teaches strategies you can use immediately to avoid situations where self-defense is required. *This is not a self-defense class.

Scout Swim at the Pool
Register your troop(s) for in-water badge work, train for camp swimming or pure pool fun. Trained staff will lead Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts through in-water training. We can customize a program to fit your needs or use our own American Red Cross approved safety program. This program is designed to meet the requirements of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America Aquatics Badge.

Join a certified yoga instructor and embrace your pregnancy through yoga. Relax, refresh and restore your body during this exciting time.

Flick & Floats - Movie Nights at YWCA
Mom, Dad - leave the kids with us and enjoy a night out! Once a month, the YWCA hosts movie night in the pool. From 6pm-8pm, kids watch a movie and float in the pool. Only $5/child. Child must be able to float unsupported for at least five seconds on front and back; able to swim five yards of front and back crawl without assistance. Children must be nine years or older or swim with an adult at all times. Registration is required.

Celebrate your next milestone or accomplishment with a Flick & Float Pool Movie Night! We can host your group on a Friday night, whether it's children or adults-only groups.
