1902 Society

YWCA’s co-ed millennial group combines networking with social advocacy. The focus of the group is to promote volunteerism, encourage philanthropy and increase civic engagement around issues of eliminating racism and empowering women. Members must be in their 20’s or 30’s and donate to YWCA annually. Members receive invitations to all 1902 Society networking events, including the Summer Picnic (for the children and families that YWCA serves), the Winter Celebration at a youth learning center, a Mixology class at a local restaurant in the fall and the ongoing YWCA book club that focuses on social justice issues, among other pop-up events throughout the year.
